Y Mellon is a Cologne-based electronic artist working at the intersection of house, indie electronic and disco. On stage he weaves live trumpet into club-ready DJ sets, often inviting other musicians to build a flexible live show. He has appeared at Parookaville, Panama Open Air and Funky Monkey Festival, and is active in Cologne’s club culture with shows at Bootshaus, Reineke Fuchs, Odonien and Subway. To date he has released three studio EPs; his track “Darlin” has nearly half a million streams. Beyond the solo format, Y Mellon leads a big band and is developing original electronic/big-band arrangements for future performances.
